Integrative Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics Serving SF Bay Area

Our Passion Is To Support Growing Children With Achieving Happy Smiles. Vibrant Health. Whole-Body Wellness.

Our Mission

We provide a global, integrated approach to whole-body and mind wellness through dentistry.

At Ciao Smiles, each child/person is unique and we develop truly personalized supportive care for them as our patients.

Our Doctors Address the Root Causes of Children's Dental & Orthodontic Problems.

The teeth, the mouth, and its surrounding structures play very important roles in overall function and health of the entire body. Our experienced doctors are trained to identify subtle signs or imbalances in growing children, and we provide advanced treatments through holistic solutions.

Our Philosophy

The human body is a whole functioning system which consists of many interrelated parts.

The human body is a functional unit.
The human body is a functional unit.
It's a dynamic, integrated system with constant communication occurring between the joints, sutures, fascia, muscles and bodily fluids.
Structure and function are reciprocal and interrelated.
Structure and function are reciprocal and interrelated.
Just like constant force from waves creates a cave over millennia, the structure of our mouth and face is also impacted by the functions of breathing, swallowing, and chewing. All of these functions interplay in the growth and development of proper oral structure.
The body has the inherent capacity to heal itself.
The body has the inherent capacity to heal itself.
Our goal is not to intervene with that process, but rather to support our patients so they can help and heal themselves.

Meet Our Team

Our colleagues and our dentists work together to serve a sole purpose: supporting our patient’s well-being and healing journey.

Mona Moy, DDS

Over a Decade of Experience with ALF Orthodontics

Born in South Korea, Dr. Moy came to the U.S. during the early 1990s after finishing her doctorate degree in dentistry and hospital residency in Korea.

Over her more than 30 years of practicing general dentistry, orthodontics, and treating TMJ disorder for all age groups, Dr. Moy observed that many adults with these problems also suffered from other chronic health issues, which started in their early childhood.

She wanted to know the root cause of these dental and orthodontic problems, and was determined to find solutions for preventing and treating them using an integrated, holistic approach.

Dr. Moy is dedicated to ongoing education and she loves to travel, cook with family, spend time in nature, and enjoys music.

Dr. Moy is dedicated to ongoing education and holds the following certificates:
